Block walls are counted, not poured. These calculators turn a wall's length and height into the number of standard 8×8×16 in. concrete masonry units, the mortar bags that bind them, and what the materials should cost at your local prices.

The counts use the nominal block face (8 × 16 in.), which is how suppliers and mason quotes are written — so the numbers line up with what you order, not with the true molded size of the block.
